I got my vacation leaves approved today! 5 days of no work next week! Wooohooo! Thanks to my manager. Mwah!
I am so happy! After the vacation comes the reality of going back to work…double time (literally). I can’t divulge too much information as of the moment.
Right now, I need to condition my body in being healthy again. I’m having a fever since last night. I hope that the tea and medicines will make the fever go away. I need to be in tip-top shape this weekend.
Two weeks ago I posted this line in my Facebook account – waiting for a miracle to happen. One friend asked me why and what miracle? I just simply answered her, anything as long as it can be a miracle. It sounds vague which I’m aware of. But I have a lot of things in mind when I typed this phrase. So many “what ifs” and “what might have beens”.
I just hope that one of the miracles I’ve been waiting for will happen….soon 
Last week, the husband and I did a grocery shopping. I decided to buy a pack of breaded mix for a chicken since it’s been awhile since I cooked a fried chicken (promise!).
So last Saturday, I decided to try the breaded mix that I bought. It’s flavored Pepper and Lemon. Prior to my cooking I already marinated the chicken parts in a salt and calamansi (lemon) extract for an added taste.
Here is the outcome of my fried chicken:
I was puzzled when I saw the black marks on my chicken.
I was thinking if it’s the pan that caused the marks.
Then I realized the flavor of breaded mix that I used…
Lemon and Pepper….Aha!
I told the husband before he eats the chicken that it’s not burned but it’s actually pepper on the chicke. Lucky me for having a husband who is not picky with foods 
It tastes good according to my hubby 
Maybe I should make this my food for tomorrow’s lunch…
Last Saturday, the husband and I went to Reli Tours Agency (inside Dusit Thani Hotel) to get my passport with Chinese Tourist Visa sticker on it. After which we went to Glorietta since they are practically neighbors with the hotel.
I took the chance to look for the book (rhyming words eh?!) that my sister wants to purchase as a gift for her bf this Hearts Day (awww…sweet of her…well it runs in the family…ahem!).
First stop is the National Bookstore which unfortunately don’t have any of the two books I’m looking for. So I hurriedly went to Powerbooks and alas! Found one of the two books. Photo Idea Index by Jim Krause…
My sister’s bf started his hobby of taking pictures. He even bought a Nikon D90 when he was in China last year so my sister found a perfect gift for him
As I was browsing through the pages of the book, I stumbled on these two pages and it became my favorite of all the pictures that the author took:
I know that the pictures show a birdhouse but look closely on its surroundings…..can you see the difference?
It actually shows the four seasons (we don’t have it here in Manila). Too bad that my photo capture is not good. It didn’t do any justice on the photos…sorry.

I was able to get my ITR last Friday…talk about last minute
I passed all the requirements needed in the agency where I seek their service to process my visa application. I’m just going to wait till Friday for my passport with a Chinese Visa sticker on it
Now that my priority for last week is all done, I’ll be moving now to this week’s priority which is the requirements and documents of my sister for her Housing Loan Application. I just hope I can gather all of it this week.
It’s been 2 weeks since I’ve been waiting for a copy of my ITR and this is the final day that I have to secure that document (I designate a time frame for myself). Unfortunately the one in charge in our HR department is having a meeting in our Makati office. Now I’m restless….
It takes 4 working days to process the Chinese Visa application. I only have 3 weeks to get one! Oh, I just hope she will be back here soon. I need to finish this task this week as I have important things to do next week. Panic mode!
